Dr Aldrich was my surgeon for my operation late last year - he listened and fully explained what the best procedure would be for my condition. I also re-visited him before the operation to be sure about the procedure. The operation was a success and Dr Aldrich explained everything that I'd had done and assured me at all times. I have now had my post op too and he listened to any concerns that I had and gave me further re-assurance about moving forward. Must also thank his secretary Astrid, very helpful and understanding. I had numerous appointments with Mr Aldrich throughout my pregnancy with twins due to restricted growth for one twin. He was always very thorough and explained things clearly. I always felt comfortable and confident in his decisions. Mr Aldrich was able to be direct whilst remaining sensitive to the situation (I did see a different Consultant on one occasion and he left me feeling rather upset and made me feel stupid, so I was very relieved when my other appointments remained with Mr Aldrich). Mr Aldrich even came to see me on the ward following the birth as a follow-up as one twin had Down Syndrome, he clearly did not have to do this and I think this shows what a good Consultant he is.

I´ve seen Mr Aldrich regularly over the years as I always feel I´m in such good hands. Highly recommended not only for his obvious competence but also for his kind, caring, sensitive manner which makes it very easy to be open with him during the consultation. Very thorough in his explanations, I´ve always felt completely comfortable in any decisions I´ve taken during an appointment with him.
